Optimization on the map is unreasonably poor. Remember that setting Vis to fast for testing is good for testing, but for the final version you want to run it with Vis on Normal. Also, use the Hint and Area Portal textures to better optimiza the map.
Basically, if you have a corner, put a brush with the Hint texture on it and use it to seal off different streets or corridors of the map, what that will do is render everything behind the Hint brush ONLY if a player can see the hint brush. Area Portal is great for doorways and windows, but it only works if the room is sealed off by Area Portal textured brushes and solid walls. It will only render what a player can directly see in the doorway. Overusing it can cause older pcs to slow down though, so put it in the most common areas first.
Preferably, don't furnish the houses yourself. People don't normally but prefurnished homes. That'll allow people to decorate it themselves. If you are going for details, and have enough entdata, invest in light switches. They will increase compile time but you did mention you had a fast pc. Try doing those for houses first, only add to public buildings if you have enough speed to sacrafice and enough entdata in the perameters.

I have done alot of what u have said up here now ^ I'm going to release an update version as the fps has more than doubled now!
I think it's a great map. The only thing that disappointed me was that the windows aren't breakable :(

Yeah it's a nice map. It's running on one of my RP servers. No issues yet.

That's due to the bush on the right having collision. IMO all the bushes shouldn't collide at all.

Well I'm still working on an updated version of the map. The bugs as i am sure i have said before have all been fixed and the fps has gone up but I've still to area portal some more buildings so i'll do my best now to keep you all informed!

I have a problem--when I load the map I get a texture-error (the pink checkerboard) and a few big red 'ERROR' signs. Is there something I need to download to get the textures?
And, if this matters, I downloaded it off of garrysmod.org.
