I Literally took the old map, made it look nicer and then chopped the entire boat up into small pieces that break easily from different traps/triggers. From my experiences people loved it quite alot more then the original, simply because the ship in the original rarely sank. While in mine, it nearly collapses entirely every other round. @Root Beer Yeah, i guess that's fine if this was made into a "post your map for judgment thread" Because there is plenty of room for ya! @Everyone else How do i fix an elevator that spawns sideways?

I put my own effort and hours of work into improving the gameplay and replayability of the map. Then i released it under the original authors credit. If you had read the thread i pointed this out multiple times. I am now creating a from Scratch complete remake of the map itself, so that i can continue the original maps legacy and consider the work wholly my own. Thank you. Now tell me how to fix my elevator to make up for trolling my thread ):

You don't ask someone (or demand, in your case) them to do something for them after insulting them. Look, I was going to be helpful and tell you not to decompile, etc. However, you are just coming off as immature to me. That's all I have to say. And no, I won't help you fix your elevator.

Intresting Discovery today, I could have possibly used the carve tool efficiently. Simply put, i had to carve a circle out of another circle, which is a painstaking process that would take quite a bit of time. Out of curiosity i figured i would see what carve would do, hoping i could get a pretty screenshot of all the crazy lines. Well i got one... and the lines aren't crazy. In fact, i see not one wasted cut in the surface. I also think that the common arguement "I could cut in less shapes then that" does not apply, i feel that i would definitely make a mistake or two in that kind of intricate cutting. (Where it looks like extra lines, those are simply the red Xs representing the middle of the line itself.) It is also my steering wheel for the ship. Which previously looked terrible! Although exactly what such a high brush count will do .... Also, i've encountered a few problems 1). I am unsure on how to set up a "trigger_once" to activate when a physics prop with one of three names passes it. I tried, and failed multiple times. I have (hopefully) properly set up filter multiples and filters. and a Filter Activator. Something just wont work though. 2). Light seems to pass through breakable objects... its a nuisance. Results in many times more hours of re playability and enjoyment (for multiplayer at least) This is of course only until the detailing itself begins to affect system performance too negatively.
That's still too much... If you were going for that, you should just use a custom prop or propper.

With the light shining through the breakable parts, might you be able to use the block light texture? I don't know how it works, I've never used it before.
