Huh, when I re open test there is nothing there even though I previously copied the entire map across...
Sometimes hammer fucks up a brush for no reason. Try deleting and completely redoing whatever brushes you think are the culprits.

Well it is probaly your hammer, seeing as I copied the vmf you showed previously into a new vmf called "test", compiled it both on fast settings and it started up episode2 fine and played the map without crashing, try refreshing your source sdk content.
