Well, I Wiki'd & partially answered my own question. I now have Half-Life 2 installing on my Mac from the Steam site... Then what?

Just saw your post, Sam, thanks! So assuming we can download the map, do I have what I need now, or do I need something more?
Hey guys, I am having one of my friends TRY to upload the file for me. He lives in the UK so he may have a better connection to garrysmod.org than I do (assuming my upload problems were caused by a bad connection to the garrysmod.org server).
I haven't forgot about you guys
We're anxious - but VERY grateful! No worries!
Let's hope this works...
Yes, do not jinx it please XD, well lets just hope it goes smoothly. and how long do you think it will take for him to put the map up.
This map is amazing.
I was one of his "map checkers" and the little touches on it just make it wonderful.
You do not BELIEVE what this thing looks like in "person".
Holy crap I remember this project! You've done amazingly so far!

If you're being limited by filesize why not remove all the content you pakratted and just upload it as a seperate download.

UPDATE: The upload was successful! Unfortunately I had to scale up the lightmaps and lower the resolution of model textures in order to fit the apparent file size limit of 50 megabytes. I don't think you'll notice it though...haha

Very nice map. Love the detail. Also Garry... your file size limit is really lame. Should be like 500MB.

Is it possible you could upload the full quality map and textures to somewhere like filefront or dropbox?
Hey is it possible to turn off all the lights because i can only turn off the main chandelier. it would be awesome if it can be dark, you would enter and see all the creepy movement like the eyes rolling on that mask :D
BTW THIS MAP ROOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hard rain is awesome. If you know what I mean ;)
(yes this is on topic!!)
This map made me nostalgia so much. Why did they have to get rid of the real one?
I also find myself strangely reminded of Rapture.

wow you aren't the only one I've heard say that
How do we get the day time thing in the Garrysmod.com picture? Also love the myst room, is that really around that place?
EDIT: Also reminds me of The Ship.

When I first started working on the map, I made it a daytime version.
Then I began to remember that at the REAL Adventurers Club, it didn't open until 6:00 PM, which was usually nighttime anyway by the time you got there. So, I changed it to a nighttime setting, which is what most people remembered the Club in.
The MYST planetarium is something I just added for fun, and as a tribute to a game I used to love when I was younger. It isn't at the real Adventurers Club, haha
Absolutely amazing! Downloading for sure!
Holy epic photographic mapping skills of holiness, Batman!
I'd really have to say your map looks better than the reference photos. Nice job.
If you want I can mirror the full sized map if need be.
Could you release the models that you have used?
wow you aren't the only one I've heard say that
Its the lighting. It has this sort of..rapture..feel.
wow you aren't the only one I've heard say that
haha, i think its because of the lighting and the music
So brerben, now that you're finished with this, what's going to be your next big project?
