Oh I thought they were b/c I saw it in the Youtube Video.
It was props created by another player, IF, you heard the pasting sounds.
:fappery: I love this map.
This looks amazingly well done. Looking forward to trying it out. Many thanks for the great effort.
amazing.
Best map I've ever seen on Garry's Mod :) Well Evocity is ok, but I like this more in my opinion.
Very very detailed, I like that
Congrats! You got on Boing Boing (tech culture site) http://www.boingboing.net/2010/06/26/adventurers-club-fro.html
Could you release the models that you have used?
I may release them later.
Excellent release brerben, It must've been quite hard to replicate Walt Disney's.
I love your map. You've done a really great job at creating the atmosphere of the real building. It would be a shame for other people to miss out on your map because they didn't see any of the screenshots immediately when they opened the thread, maybe you should display them.
Awsome Map, sir. I rate this map 9/10 - Exactly how the real thing was...

I'm loving finding the little hidden gems... The view from the top of the pyramid is awesome, but I wish the opening faced the Club... Haven't found the way to wake the Yakoose yet... (Don't tell me, I'm enjoying the search. Many thanks to whoever set up the multiplayer server already! Which brings me to my questions. This is my first experience with Garrysmod. I set it up just for the club. How do I communicate with other adventurers? Is there a good tutorial? How can I skin my avatar? Just point me in the right direction & I'll figure it out. I'm imagining getting together with fellow adventurers in a multiplayer club to explore & reminisce. We might even have to create new adventures to go on after meeting at the Club for a swearing-in & getting a little toasted...
Awesome. I saw what you did there on the hard rain book.
super cool map! i would pay for this! i would download it but garry...hasn't finished gmod for mac yet. but still. very cool. wishing i could play it!
Play it in Episode 2, I don't think you need anything from Garry's Mod for it to work.
Hey I was wondering, if I wanted to have a way to make all the little knick knacks go off individually and remotely like the kungaloosh guy and the masks by way of say a num pad input how would i go about doing that?
only thing it needs now is movable props and stuff. be able to take the pictures off the wall and stuff, move around the displays, hoard em! Also, love the myst reference with the observatory.
Is there a lobby server that hosts this map? If not there should be.
Top of the line
welp you got into the news Kotaku, Boing boing, and a Disney News site got your map as a article on the page http://kotaku.com/5574065/visit-a-dead-theme-park-ride-in-half+life http://www.insidethemagic.net/2010/06/walt-disney-worlds-adventurers-club-virtually-recreated-for-fans-to-once-again-explore/
Downloading now. The quality looks absolutely amazing. I'm ashamed to admit, but even after visiting Disney World several times, I never got to see the Adventurers Club (I blame my parents for never taking me). Makes you wonder if Disney has ever considered producing Virtual Theme Parks on the major platforms. Nothing beats the experience of actually being there in person, but sometimes I just want to reminisce. Being there virtually is as close as you can get. Guess that's why in-ride photos and souvenirs sell so well in the parks; and why they charge so much for them. /takes a sip out of his Typhoon Lagoon water mug and looks at his completely faded Splash Mountain T-shirt.
God damnit. HAVE MY BABIES
Great job! You got some Kotaku love as well.
Great mod! I found about it here: http://www.chipandco.com/2010/06/disneys-adventurers-club-comes-to-life-again/
To spend so much time putting so much effort into one map is simply amazing. Unfortunately I never got to see the adventure club, but this is the closest thing to it I will see, and it's excellent. I hope to see more maps from you
This is truly inspirational work, well done. I know I am pushing my luck but have you thought about releasing a terrortown version of the map? If you player clipped off the pyramid and the water of the port this would be by far the best TTT map and would love to play it on my server. Once again pure awesome sauce.
I also find myself strangely reminded of Rapture.
Its cause of the radios!
Everytime I run this map it crashes before even loading the level. It's not my PC specs, help please.
