Lower the lightmap scale on the floor, so it gets better shadows.
That is looking fucking brilliant.

Do you think those pillars look too thick?

I didn't actually copy you.
I posted the thread, went out and when I came back, saw that it had gone pretty crap and changed it, then Coolcorky said someone had beaten me to it.
But i said that you should just turn it into a house competition, which you must have read without noticing?

That looks pretty cool so far. Maybe the pillars are a little thick. Why don't you try an' replace em and make greek looking pillars? Like these:

Obviously not as detailed, just make a Cylinder and texture it ..?
Hope this helps :)
Remember, you're getting judged on exterior architecture so a plain, blocky outside won't go down so well.

You suggested making it a house competition, you didn't say you were making a house competition yourself.
Cant you just drop it? were doing it now no matter what.
Plain and blocky is the modern style though, you dont see a modern architecture that im trying to go for have greek pillars (no offence to LewyJudge) but this is the kind of style im going for:

As a matter of fact, im now going to try and find a reference image to copy.
Count me in, since my RP_Greenburg messed up in hammer and i can continue it.
Okay, good luck finding a ref. image :)
