Gm_tropics_v3 FINAL - Developers

Nice, are you going to be able to fix up the broken things? If not you should release anyway with hypnotoads consent of course.

Since the map isn't mine, I'm not going to bother fixing it right because it would take months to do. I added some rudimentary optimization to the map and made it to where it's in an "acceptable" state to play on, but that's as far as I'm going to go with it. Whether or not it gets released is up to hypnotoad. He either has a full PM box or something because it won't let me send him a message about it. Someone else can try if they want it to be released.

I played this map when it worked, and it was amazing. Now it doesn't, therefore I am offering to email someone -ONE WHOLE COOKIE- if they perform some necromancy on it and bring it back to life.

Can someone try it with this command in launch options, +r_hunkalloclightmaps. I had the same error trying to play gm_big city until I put that in and now it works great for me.

WHY DOESNT THIS WORK FOR ME? just as it loads it crashes?

Right-click Garry's Mod, go to Properties. Click "Set Launch Options" Put in "+r_hunkalloclightmaps 0" without the quotes. Press OK. Congrats, you should now be able to run gm_tropics_v3.

Very nice map, I think it would make a great GMS Map. And was that what you were going for?

whenever i click on the icon it just goes back to my desktop and says "junk overload"

the nicest map ever made way better than any of valves and companies like that. very nice ,but just in case know one reported, when i try to play it gmod crashes and it says : system Hunk over flow. sorry if you already heard it. ,but looks really nice.
