There hasn't been a map like this with such a good level of overall detail.
So you can calm down and stop re-posting the same message.
Ahh okay, yes it is indeed a map with nice detail in it.
But it can still be discussed that, there aren't any other maps "with such a good level of overall detail."
It's one of the best, but there are still maps with same level of detail.
is there going to be a v2? if there will be one it would be awsome!
After playing it I think there needs to be a lot more lighting inside the buildings
Wow, a great looking and fun to play map that came out of no where for me at least. Made my day thankyou!
This map deserves greatness and to be played everywhere.
This map is okish, Somewhat small and there's only like five feet of water.
looks amazing
I like it, it looks fantastic. I like the round-corner style.
The best map ever made, no joke. If you go for a version @ make sure to keep it small. The moment mappers start going big is the moment maps die in my opinion. I mean, Evocity was beautiful and all, but it was too huge. This map is just right.
Migga, bro, you are the most solid map maker i've seen. Your release maps regularly, and they are each seemingly more stunning than the next.
Great job. Lighting is perfect, and I love how the buildings look nice and well kept from the outside, but the inside is dirty, worn, and abandoned.
Again, wonderful job.
on average big maps will look worse but probably be more useful for gmod (only aplies to better maps).
By the way, is there any chance you'll make it slightly bigger (water wise), and make the small underground bunker place possibly alot bigger? It's boring when trying to simulate an attack <:(
Yeah. Make the underground a lot bigger, and move the lift and such in to the main building. Then add stuff like a dock or two, and increase the water area by a lot. I was going to make a little network of ships at sea to use as a floating town, but there was barely any room. Other than that, the map is great.
This is what I saw in my mind when I viewed this map.

You made that?
You made that?
Yes
I think you should make a small chain of islands to go with it, that would be be awesome...
I got disagreed? I photoshoped a picture from the OP for kicks, I still did the photoshop.
Awesome Map. my only Problem with it is the Really Shallow water D:
Love the map, very pretty and artistic. A few points though.
1) This spawnpoint gets stuck in the wall:

2) This lift is a func_door which looks a bit funny on (I suspect) most rp scripts. Perhaps it could be a func_movelinear?

3) Most of your windows have either no glass, or highly transparent glass that doesn't decal when shot. It feels a bit odd while playing.
4) No doors? Most RP scripts revolve around possession, so you might want to add a few to the various rooms.
5) No living quarters? You have several communal-ish areas, but no place where several people could sit down to meal, no dormitories or bedrooms and no empty or suitably decorated/sized rooms that could be used for either.
"models/props/de_inferno/bed.mdl" is a good all-in-one bed model, and as for eating arrangements, might I suggest "models/props/CS_militia/wood_table.mdl" and "models/props/CS_militia/wood_bench.mdl"?
Or if you want more hl2ey ones, "models/props_wasteland/cafeteria_table001a.mdl" and "models/props_wasteland/cafeteria_bench001a.mdl" and I guess bedroomy furniture to suggest where people could lay out their mattresses.
6) No meeting area. Not really a huge point, but you don't have somewhere indoors where one man could get up and address 20 others and see them all.
7) No seat of government. I don't know of any RP scripts that don't in some way have a ruler in them. Whether it's the secretive and evil chief of police or the happy loving Mayor Of The People, they all have one and they've all got to live somewhere. I'd suggest a lofty office where the leader can view his domain and deal with the important matters of state like filing and eating doughnuts.

Really, those are more trivial things that should be taken care of by the hosting server. Only problems is the spawn, the windows, and maybe the lift.
The government spot is just ridiculous and ultimately unnecessary. If they need one, there are about two dozen different rooms. As for a meeting area, if you absolutely need one, there are plenty of open spaces where people can stand. The people should be responsible for furnishing their own homes, not preplaced materials. The ones that are in it are fine, and if you need to change them, you can. You don't absolutely need doors, and most good servers have a way to place custom doors in some way.
Also, turn up your graphics. It actually hurt to look at those screenshots with the graphics so low.
At the first screen, I thought it was another 5 minute noob map.
When I finished scrolling through all the screens, I almost had to change my pants.

I didn't say any of the points were "OMG RUINS HOLE MAP!111", I just thought they were things the mapper should be aware of.
Also my graphics are all on the highest possible settings, apart from Anti-Aliasing which I turned off and forgot to turn on again and HDR because there are so many shitty maps that have blindingly incorrect HDR (like GM Construct) that I prefer to leave it off and save my eyes.
WOW. Ever considered doing a Fallout 3 map? Because it would own.
Lightmaps could stand to be higher quality but that's about it. great job.
Now i'll download this.
Downloading! :D
beautiful, near perfectly amazing, even tho ists not a building map (apart from water-craft) It is still very amazing, this could be very eaisly used on many other gamemodes.
10/10!
