Any updates on this now? [sp]bump sorry[/sp]

no
We hit a road block when it actually came to converting the models into brushes that nobody wants to do. Also all the grey textures are from shaders which we don't have access to from n64. basically you can't possibly get it how it will look.
so, what's the progress on this?

Okay.... Never mind what I said then. Just let me know when it's ready for Gmod.
We can't do anything, so we have stopped working on it.
damn. <:'(
Send me what you have? This could be fun to play with later. I think I'd end up making a less authentic looking version.
I think Pine, firegod, or sphinxa has the map files.
Yea zip that shit up and post it right down here. \/

Didn't wall worm make a tool that would make this 1000 times easier?
Didn't wall worm make a tool that would make this 1000 times easier?
This was started before it came out.
I was just saying, this could be done easier now
Coming Fall 2024, The Banjo Kazooie Map Pack!
Ok where's the download now ? :D
Soon.
Well do you still have the map ? Because I'd like to use it in a CS:GO project.
No I don't still have the files, although it would be a good project to work on again.
Well I started with spiral mountain today and it went pretty well except I have no idea how to color the grass with Cinema 4D (it's basically a grey texture which the color of grass/path is painted on)
So are you planning to approach it again now that wallworm is a thing?
Well I'd be ready to work on some maps... but not alone :D Let's really start a project like Banjo Kazooie: Source http://bksource.roflforum.net/ Just with less game and more maps :D AFAIK the project was never really started but I think you can still find some maps on the forum...
Coming Fall 2024, The Banjo Kazooie Map Pack!
Where is our map pack? Damn thought that said 2014. See you all in 10 years.
Oh wow, I haven't been active there since 2009 when I ripped Freezy peak for them. I might just have to work on that map at some point, but not now. Also the resource download links on there are dead
Ok Sprial Mountain is finished but now I have a problem: I have to export it to 3DS Max to export it to Source SDK but I don't know how to get the materials into 3DS... I hope someone can help me with that. EDIT: Ok I remembered that .FBX works so I used that. Now I have to figure out how to use Wallworm...
Same problem we had, it's a non-diffuse shader. A blending one I think
Same problem we had, it's a non-diffuse shader. A blending one I think
Well how about instead having different textures like for example a dark green version for the top and light green for the floor and where the path is there's a texture with the path color ? I think we could do that if we'd get the textured Spiral mountain from top. Then it should be possible to map it onto the floor
Oh btw here's the fbx if someone wants it :D https://www.dropbox.com/sh/231dmkbx8hbfvqt/AAB7h8fjotOdP84ytydNK6Kta/Banjo%20Kazooie%20Maps?dl=0
Will you be doing Banjo Tooie maps also?
I guess that demands on how many people will work on it and how many people like the idea of having the maps for source...
I would like to see B-K maps in source. I still have my base rip of Freezy peak too. but I plan on doing a re-rip since I know how to use model parts in hammer now.
