Just watched the video good stuff man!
I am loving how the map looks now. Very, -very- nice. And the lightning is great too. The tornadoes look amazing. Especially the F5.
Keep up the awesome work, man. I can't wait to play this online with some bros.
This map looks to be the best map I have ever seen in Garry's Mod. I think out of all the tornadoes the F5 has to be my favourite but I think the f1 looks the coolest. Great job. Good luck looking forward to the release.

Also: does anyone smell a new type of sortaRP, or is it just me? I am just uber stoked to play this online.
For some reason this map is way better than Tornadochase, and I'm more excited for it.

He had a tornado chase server but no one really played on it so with the release I hope he opens it back up.

I feel that the only thing this amazing map is missing is a good skybox. I get a lot of tornados where I live, and the sky's usually a pretty eerie shade of green or purple or any of those fucked up colors, with some pretty wicked cloud formations.
Do you have a skybox made for it/them? If you don't, I'll be happy to whip a few up in Terragen or some other program like this. It must be my OCD bothering me, but I really feel like the map will have a chunk of realism taken from it if the skybox doesn't fit.
Other than my complaining, the map's looking amazing. Keep at it!

I once somehow made it so that it was dark as nighttime, I was at the farm house there were two tornadoes out [one weathermod and the map's tornado] and I couldn't see anything except the lightning backlighting the tornadoes. Was... pretty freaking awesome. Then it hit the house and I died.
And I agree for the most part on the skybox, it's... not threatening enough. It works well enough for me, but it might need changed. I like how it looks now, reminds me a lot of the atmosphere of the final chase in Twister, but it's all up to you, man.
And one thing I love about this map VS tornadochase: there are no utility poles every 5 feet.
I downloaded TDM's car packs and this Dodge Ram was included.

I am currently trying to get a exact year model of the dodge ram 2500 from the movie I have the model but I can't texture or make it driveable because I don't know how to do it so if you want it to bring it into gmod. Pm me and I will send the model to you in .max format on one condition: That it is released to the public.
Here's what I'll be using for now. Kiiiindanotreally the Jeep. But it works perfectly! The probe fits in the back perfect.

It's actually the GMC/Chevy Silverado ripoff from L4D. It works pretty well chasing, other than it likes to slide all over the place.

I downloaded a mod for GTA: San Andreas a while ago, but the Dodge is a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500.

Well this is as close as I could find to it so we are going to have to work with it atleats it is not the srt 10 that just doesnt look like it at all. I just need someone who can texture and rig.
I have all the textures I just don't know how to apply them they look messed up and out of place.

Weeks at the most. I'm making a warehouse right now, then I've got to make the area less "flat", while still keeping the "midwest flatness" feeling. After that, I have to touch up the 3d skybox (which is going to be a pain in the ass because I did it last and not first...) and then I just have to bug-test it. All the tornadoes and special effects are already in.

I hope it doesnt have a small lake or pond because that one in alley messed up alot of chases. :P
