Bumpity
Get a new pc, reinstall windows.
I added you on steam, I have an idea of something that might work.
Get a new pc, reinstall windows.
Reinstall windows after getting a new PC?
Bump once again.
Bamp
Uninstall windows, throw pc away.
Uninstall windows, throw pc away.
Finally, an answer that works! Brb, trashing my PC. On this note, if I uninstall Steam will it delete all of its files, including registries, hidden files, C:\HammerAutosaves, etc? If so, I will do this.
You could try that I guess. I would use something like revo uninstaller that scans your computer for any trace that the software left behind. It's more time consuming, but it might be necessary in your case.

It must be an error with my hardware, an incompatible driver, or something. It's not on Hammer's end as far as I can tell.
What if I downloaded and ran steam in a virtual machine?
Does it make a difference if you click on the red camera button on the left toolbar and position a camera in the world? I vaguely remember something odd like that from the past.

Bump. I'm going to try the virtual machine idea on Monday.
I bought CS:GO today, and Hammer works perfectly. I'm going to make CS:GO maps now, I guess. If anyone cares to, close this thread I guess.
Sorry to bump this after all this time but the process that causes this error is RzFPS.exe, which installs automatically with most Razer hardware or Razer software. Hope this helps in the future if anyone has this problem. This also gives similar problems with SFM.
