What, the actual model itself, cause I say in this video you can parent it to the flare model, I was just showing how to do with a brush.
Make one of how to make a simple map if you have no mapping experience
This is so unneeded it's unbearable. http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Your_First_Map If you don't have the patience to follow that through you don't have the patience required to be a good mapper.
Yeah but some people enjoy going along with a voice/video instead of reading and stuff.
Sorry about no video tonight guys. Decided to go fishing, tutorials up tomorrow.
I am uploading one right now. It is on how to apply textures to curved surfaces (arches).
You should make a tutorial that explains how to do AI relationships, like in the beginning f HL2 where MetroCops wouldn`t attack unless you provoked them. That would help me alot with a singleplayer map I`m working on. :v:
Sorry if I am stealing the spotlight. Trust me, sphinxa's tutorials are way easier to understand and are much higher quality. Watch his. I just thought this would be useful to throw out there.
Awesome man, I also think Firegod done one, though I am not sure on that.

Contact me on steam and ill explain in detail.

Fuuuuuuuu- You son of a bitch Firegod, oh well I'll continue on my fog tutorial, then I'll do a basic Counter Strike: Source map tutorial, outlining buyzones spawn points, bomb zones etc etc.
Pretty good tutorials i dare say. But if you want to learn well, i suggest you get yourself a dutch friend. That's how i learned, funnily enough.
Dutch people are awesome :v:
I'm completely new to any hammer mapping, and I have minimal knowledge from 3ds Max 2010, so any tutorials for a noob like me?
All of my tutorials will suffice for you, check out firegod's tutorials as well.
