Gonna work on something pretty fun, When i find a way to "break" the map I will put a little easter egg there just so the people can see secrets places.

I've basically given up mapping at this point due to lack of inspiration at most times, and lack of ability to execute at others. However I still visit this thread pretty regularly, and I gotta say, things are lookin' [I]gooooood.[/I] Excellent work guys.

Thanks - yeah, I'm thinking that if I have everything set back at a realistic scale it'll just be too open for L4D2. I'll try and think of something. There are houses on the mainstreet map in L4D that are only 192 wide but that looks crazy narrow to me.

Try making a small func_brush underneath that rail, make that brush thick enough that the railing will make just a little bit of contact with a solid brush so it will fall down correctly. Then use a logic_collision_pair, and make sure the rail doesn't make contact with the func_brush strip. I have done something similar in my map which fucked itself up somehow on a lot of window shutters.

Yeah i know that feeling... Took me almost a year to start working on my mod Lack of inspiration... sometime I just look at my maps and see what I can add to make it looking better just for fun.
Its hard for me to start a new map. When i get to that empty black screen im like ... uhhhhhh fuckk!
Valve must use some sort of Mind reading crap to get your ideas out of your mind :v:

It was going to be a Garry's Mod map. It's hardly a Japanese-esque map, but the windows and roof-like ceiling made me think of that map.
