there are two gates on the room.
Its not that hard really. a good blend texture tho is what's needed but a mountain will go to a point and will have sharp edged hills (it doesn't need to be sharp) going up and low sloping hills.
Heres a good example:

I'm not a master on the subject, but that's the best way i can explain it.
(Don't kill me) Here's a mountain i did in Killing floor as another example.

Yeah, but what's the easiest way to figure out "scale"?
I can make all the sexy and nice looking mountain ranges I want, but getting them in-game and working to a scale that feels proper (like the mountain is too huge, or too small) is a huge problem for me.
Any knowledge you can share ?

scale isn't an easy subject for me, but a typical mountain height( Full size) is 131,200 units in hammer and about 8200 in a 1/16 skybox. (just using real world examples) So Its gonna be to large for hammer to go by realist size. (you can if you wanted by using a skybox tho!)
the Best thing you can do is use your eye by using the player model and comparing it with the mountain's/hills. Try not the make it at like a sharp angle 100% of the time. use low sloping and then start to make more harsh angles. What i always felt (even when climbing some large hills in real life) is that when climbing a mountain you feel small and when you get the the top you can see how vast the valley is.
but in the end i don't think no one will complain that a mountain is to large. Again I'm no master on the subject.
How do you embed dropbox links? I've never been able to do it.

This one came out of android's 360 panorama feature. I still want to tweak it, but I'll post it when it's finished.
That's a beautiful sky.

I can imagine if there was a little bit of wind, you could have some little flits of sand or dust coming off the tops of the structures. I know it really wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, but it would make it feel a lot less "static" when you're walking around in the level.

Nice one
It almost looks like n64 logo in middle of desert :v:
Where did you get that cliff texture?
It's from CSGO, but I edited it so it didn't have an annoying trim made of grass at the top.

Stick a thin brush of block light under that; the ambient is bleeding through at the ground intersection.
Hello, I just need some help with the stop sounds problem and was wondering if someone could explain it step-by-step better than this can

I live by a prairie preserve in Illinois, nothing has grown back yet so it was easy to run out and snap this.

I reccomend you to add some sand effect to the ground tex., make it seem like it's moving by the wind. I believe it's possible...
