In all honesty though, it's best to never add effects so people can actually see what you've made to provide feedback, rather than covering any issues with blur.
Main street of my RP map is about 2/3 done, I also started an underground pub. (I am aware some of the textures are repetitive but that should not be a problem after I add decals / props)

In the orginal pic the building had own door for staircase (+ elevator?) and own for the watch store.
You should the same, unless the whole building is for the store (management).

Parents are building a house, asked for a 3D model.
Did you design the house? Or just made that after architecht's drawings?

Would look better if you used dark grey tiles/plaster instead of white plaster.
And also black metallic window and door frames.
And those brown tiles could be dark or gray wood.

Quickly made it according to plans. I exported it into a model to be textured with different set of textures in another application, so I just mostly used HL2 stock textures in this one.
I'll replace the door frames, and the brown tiles are actually orange wood on the original project (it included pure white plaster on those sides).

Brick houses are extremely boring unless you have something else than that same old brown coloured ones.

Thanks man, I'm using some stuff from 'Real World Textures' by TopHATTwaffle, 'Realistic Clean Road Textures' by DasMatze and the rest is from CS:S.

Ah, I'm using mostly the same, RWT and DasMatze, only problem is I can't extract the L4D2 or CS:GO textures.

Before you go about playing it, be warned, the game is REALLY creepy.
I played it a bit and if those are vents in the examination rooms I think you should alter their proportions a bit. The part where the vent sits is also a bit of a depression where as on yours they appear to be flat surfaces.
Let me get a better screenshot, plus I need Nightstalker to port some IM Models if I want to complete this with models in it.

You could probably easily convert it to TTT. Would make for an interesting environment to play it in.

I need some help with determining if the control points on the map I'm working on are even or not. I haven't been able to run it serverside yet, but instead I just did a timed trial from each of the teams spawn points, and there was hardly a difference. Don't mind the fog not matching the skybox, I can't even get that right. Here's the packed BSP link if y'all feel like giving it a try.

Its very nice but that fog does not match the skybox at all. It needs to be far darker.

Foundry was one of THEE maps to go to for forge on Halo 3. I remember some great gamemodes on that map like escape from juve, fatboy, garbage compactor and warthog football.

That map looks great! Reminds me of Red Orchestra 2 or medal of honour with a little bit of stalker in there.
