Revamping cs_office to be a de_ map Takes so long to compile [sub]58 seconds seems way slow[/sub]
I'm playing around with some ideas for a large scale RP map that I'm working on. This is a very rough draft for the John Freeman Memorial Statue island :v:
give him a better "wepon"

For some reason I absolutely love the lighting in thise images. However, the way the pipe clips through the wall and the low res wall textures could use a bit of improvement.
is it okay to quote posts that end up on the bottom of the page?
Progress dump [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/356mraK.jpg[/img_thumb] c&c welcome as always
In the last image, the stair case, alternate the textures more so it doesn't look like the same thing over and over again.
Could someone possibly do me a big big big favor and take this texture, and make it look like a dirty and cracked TV Screen? Ill buy you a nice title or something, and love you forever.
[img_thumb]http://shrani.si/f/t/OZ/4ONlB2H/brojkentv.jpg[/img_thumb] Like this?
make sure to also give credits to infinity ward :v:
Why are you guys rating him dumb? He's right. It's the loading screen texture to the Arcadia map in single player from MW2
[img_thumb]http://shrani.si/f/2J/Ur/1KnM640N/brokentv2.jpg[/img_thumb] Better?
Fantastic!! Thank you very much. If you PM me the code for your title Ill get it bought for you.
Oh shit. I just took another look at racing tracks in games and popular media. My supports are highway supports. Not typical track supports. I've got to make it more like this: Yay complete wall redesigns are fun. I think it looks nice.
I have uploaded chanda assets. So, 100 mb of misc props and materials. (They are not only models.) http://nicoreda.power-heberg.com/chandapacks/chandapack.zip
Dat background.
Dat background.
Not a problem. The content doesn't have background.
If you are concerned with it being realistic you shouldnt have any kind of overpass. Those dont exist on racetracks. I would stick with what you have. I think it looks nice.
They have sometimes. First that came into my mind was Suzuka Circuit: [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ec/Suzuka_circuit_map--2005.svg/777px-Suzuka_circuit_map--2005.svg.png[/t]
so I remembered that there exists a "func_reflective" entity with texture Remember that bar scene I tried making awhile back? [img_thumb]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/937008435144981968/A95F6F1F77217FA0246CA5802788350070336ECD/[/img_thumb] I apologize for small size, this was made on a completely different computer that didn't have much power I found a couple of new textures, figured out how to use func_brush with the mirror, learned how to change brush colour and how to make a skybox this is my new testbed I could use all the constructive criticism and ideas you guys have In hindsight, the sky is not supposed to be overcast daytime I'll keep working on it, new pictures to come!
Nah, it looks good overcast. You should probably break up that glass texture sometimes, though. It makes a cool effect on the buildings and scenery, but it looks kinda repetitive.

That looks pretty nice, keep them coming!
Just a few WIP pictures :).
Early WiP I've been working on for the last two days. It's supposed to shape the lobby of an office skyscraper, but I haven't added too many props to really dictate that yet. Any ideas on how to divide the last section? Criticism welcomed too!
