I want to make a zombie map/mode using the [URL="https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/CSGO_Custom_Game_Mode"]CSGO Custom Gamemode[/URL] settings, but I'm stumped on one thing. I'm not getting emails back from Valve on this.
How do I block players from manually dropping their weapons? It's disabled in Arms Race but I have no idea how they did it. I can prevent killed players from dropping their weapons on death, but I don't want human players to grief by handing guns over to the zombie players.
Wouldn't it be a better of a solution to just not allow the zombie players to pickup weapons?

Have you tried the CSGO mapping list? Valves pretty responsive on there, I got an email back from them on some vscript questions within 42 hours.
Only other idea I can think of, which is really not optimal I feel, is that you cover the map with a lot of trigger_remove and have it filter to only delete weapon entities.

download visual studio 2010 express and install
download visual studio 2010 sp1 and install

copy client.dll & server.dll to the bin folder
edit gameinfo.txt so it matches the new steampipe format
run mod

Valve said to build the EverythingSP_SDK-2010 but when i open it with VS i see a bunch of incompatible files on the right tab and when i build it there are a few errors.
I think there should be a Thread on this update instead of talking about it on the mapping megathread

Also, <3 Jukka, your title is one of many to still come around.
use the vertex manipulate tool. drag the lower right corner of the brush into the lower left point of the brush next to it. Then drag the lower left corner of the selected brush up so there is a straight line between it and the lower right corner.

you've got a height difference on those brushes as well so you'll have to change viewport and move the relevant points up/down

You should clip the slanted brush into two triangles and then you can vertex manipulate them without it ever becoming invalid.

Fuck I'm going to miss that launcher.
Although I think this is a good change though, here's more of what they wrote about the launcher changes:

This sounds like less of a hassle if you need to change games, I remember back in around 2010-2011 when alot of game configurations broke, also all those lists were just annoying to deal with (Source SDK 2007, Source SDK 2008, Source SDK 2009, etc) - so now I'm hoping that you can just right click the game and choose "Launch Hammer" or something and it'll load it with the games configuration.
