Decided to make a small cluster of industrialish buildings for a stalker rp map that may, eventually, come into existence.
Looks good, but those catwalks are too wide and they look bit out of place.

If you can use Left 4 Dead assets however, then you have a lot of hospital props and textures to work with.

Alternatively, like mentioned above, you can look at other source games that have hospital style levels for inspiration. I like this reception desk from one of the Black Mesa Source office levels. Did you do the terrain with triangles? Tree shadows sound like an interesting idea.

Grab a light entity and set it up something like Quadratic: 1 Linear: 0 Constant: 9 and set it to a orange colour. Play with those values and the brightness until you get some nice ambient shadows. I'm guessing it's because it's so fucking huge. It's too bad hl1's model renderer decided to make my dune extension model yellow instead of white like it should be. It's so huge I don't even know how I'm going to fill that map.
