I haven't made anything that big before, [URL="http://i.imgur.com/NAAWHhQ.png"]but I too[/URL] enjoy the skeletal structure approach to building vehicles. Kind of hard to tell since I put paneling over the [URL="http://i.imgur.com/AuZ6uqf.png"]front compartment[/URL].
I never got around to setting up it's control model (was going to be more complex than the littler ones), but it's in [URL="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26426931/Ver/gamecontent/phys_airship_deciduousplains.zip"]this map[/URL] if you want to check it out. Please try to ignore the bugs caused by irresponsible displacements (makes the map reasonably unplayable as much more than a "look at my floating useless physbox shapes" area), and also the glaring yellow sunlight. :v:

Not bad, I like the idea. You should check this out if you plan adding more details and look realistic

I believe its possible to build it about 4 time bigger than the normal one then propper it and resize it. Or using a lot of transparent textures making some of the truss system link
PS: you should use [t] [/t ] instead. Your screenshots are pretty big

If you put some sway animations in the trees it would make the map 80000x more better. That video was pretty static looking.

That would have been smart.
The moral of the story is: If you're doing a commission, either
-get your money upfront, refund if you are unable to complete due to real-life shit
-take something as collateral
-do the above and only hand over the 'complete' version when payment is confirmed

You should make them dynamic models that have physic gibs instead of cinematic physics (I assume they are, since every rubble pile looks the same).

But that would negatively impact performance, look bad because the gibs would fade out, and hardly behave and look differently than cinematic physics.
It will also end unrealistic, as gibs don't make collision with each other.
Only in multiplayer gibs will collide with each other for some reason.

I'd go with the one without CC, I feel like it washes out too much of the colours
looks much better without the color correction

A little late, but to me, non CC seems like a warmer environment than CC. Non CC also feels a little safer to be in than CC. In my opinion, it depends on if you want the player to feel threatened or relaxed in your room.
