This one is a big improvement.[/QUOTE] The displacements were horrid to align with each other, some do and some don't because they're different sizes etc. The reason I didn't add a 3D skybox is it took up most of the space at the top, so I couldn't make the skybox high enough, and because it was so big it added extra time to the compile which isn't too bad, but with the amount of testing we was doing on it is quite a while. There's just one thing that I find weird, why didn't you put brushes behind the displacements so that they blocked vis, also allowing the player to play underneath the map? No map shouldn't even exist beneath those cliffs. Right now you practically render the whole map and tunnels and things like this even when standing in a small canyon. This map could really benefit from that, some areaportalwindows and maybe even fading on the trees, because honestly, the fps is crap, when it really didn't have to be. Also why put a turn right after a slope, and why aren't the slopes rounded? It was never going to work, and I derail every single time. It's a shame a map like this is let down by such silly mistakes.
Holy whatsamasauce, this is fucking awesome! I hated the v1 and v2, but this, this is really sweet, the river inspires me for my mapping, and hell, the skybox texture is great. 10/10.

This without HDR takes half an hour and with takes 1 hour.
The map is really great but i have a little problem, when i sumerge in the water and i look up i see black and purple square, i tried with the fix and nothing, i putted into garrysmod/materials, and nothing, i putted in materials inside addons/gm_botmap_v3, and nothing, by the way i have hl2, ep1 and ep2 mounted. I need help, i don't know what to do.

Just go slower.[/QUOTE] I'm going the other way, there's just no way you can come up over that hill and stay on, it's kind of a shitter to be honest. Also I still don't get why you can't have a huge brush say in the middle of a cliff "island" and build the displacements off around it. This settles the problems I am concerned with, and honestly I thought it would have been quite obvious to do this in the first place, because map space is not needed in there, and with this, it would just be void, and automatically block vis.
I tried those methods, and they all failed, the FPS stayed the same (which was worse) so I decided to use another method which hides entities.

Guys, I got a little problem, whenever I try to spawn something from the botmap menu (The slider or the map), it shows up for a second and then disappears... Anyone know a fix/ has the same problem? (This happened inside Botmap_V3 itself, haven't tried other maps though, but I can spawn other stuff in Botmap_V3)
From what I've seen, it looks epic. Unfortunately I can't really play it, because I don't have Ep2. Any plans for a non-Ep2 version?
Guy's sorry for insist, but i can't be inside the water when i look up i see black and purple square, i have mounted hl2, ep1 and ep1 but didn't work also i have the underwater FIX 6(final version), but didn't work, i putted into materials in the garrysmod folder and into the materials folder inside the gm_botmap_v3 folder, but nothing. I would to fix this because is the only bug i detected inside the map anything else is perfect.
That's one sexy looking map, you instantly have my download. And who doesn't have the Orange Box these days? I mean c'mon guys it came out a year ago.

To the person who is saying about a pink and black square: Maybe if you gave us more information, like a screenshot we could help.

Nope, sorry. I couldn't find a logical place to put them. Again though, I've never seen anyone use the nodes nor have I used them.
