When working on a map, How many monitors do you use?

I have 2 PC's and 2 Laptops, which 2 of them sadly are really bad rigz. So I suggest you buying laptop, it's like second core for your PC plus second screen

Two 24" screens, one and a half for mapping, the other half for Skype, Steam, Testing and Internet.

I've dabbled with various setups over the years. I first dicked about with 3 19" CRT's, pretty much because I could. 1 for Hammer, 1 for Reference, 1 for Eve. After I got over the novelty of having 3 screens, and realized how fucking pointless is was, I scrapped one, and just used the 2, for the same as above, without the eve.

Then 1 of the screens died, and I scrapped all 3, and got myself a nice 20" widescreen and made do with the one, then for about a year was lent another 19" widescreen. At this point all was good and well in the world. Then I moved out into my friends place, and I have to make do with 1 monitor again.

I'm currently saving up to replace my monitor with 2 24" Dell god panels.

Prior to 18 months ago, I had 1 15" 1024x768 monitor. I never had any problems, I was just economic.

Well, seeing as this thread has been bumped, I ended up getting the two monitors I wanted. Now I have Hammer open in one monitor and something else (Photoshop/Maya/reference images) on my second monitor. But sometimes it's just Facebook or Facepunch open.

At least now I don't have to minimize hammer just to see what someone said to me on Facebook Chat.

i use my 22" for hammer and my 19" for Firefox or other crap i need/want running.

I have 2 but there different sizes and one is wall mounted so they are kinda diagonal. I hardly use the other one for my PC.
