Need proof.
It was on the HL coders mailing list. You would need to sign up for it to see. http://list.valvesoftware.com/
Hell yes. Maybe I'll start mapping again.
Regardless of the new engine features, we should really appreciate Valve for their service in providing a free game and treating us PC gamers like human beings, unlike the other companies that are currently jumping on the anti-piracy bandwagon.

Valve is such a great company for keeping with the community.
I should learn the new stuff :v:
i hope it has liquid physics
i hope it has liquid physics
Don't get your hopes up.
i hope it has liquid physics
That is just pure insanity.
Two years ago Valve hired the talented team behind the popular top down co-op mod Alien Swarm
This is why valve is awesome, It takes the modders of different games and gives them jobs.
I'm most excited for DOF. I'm also a photographer and I spend time seeing how vision works vs a camera, and that is one of my biggest beefs with the source engine. It can't look realistic because everything is in perfect focus. Good to see that valve is finally seeing they need to to step it up to compete with other engines
Have you guys looked at the System requirements for this game? Howt dawg. That's pretty sweet. If I post a screenshot of my shizzle, can someone tell me if I can run this, please? I'm a tad retarded when it comes to PC specs.
Start>Run>dxdaig
So is this engine going to be incorporated into gmod?
Is that the right thing? I hate being computer retarded.
An x300 is less than a x600.
~ZOMG your graphics card would shit itself.
So is this engine going to be incorporated into gmod?
Probably not any time soon.
So is this engine going to be incorporated into gmod?
This is the question I am wanting the answer too, as well.
What they really need to do is increase the ent. limit and the hammer grid size. Would :gizz: if they signifigantly increased those.
What they really need to do is increase the ent. limit and the hammer grid size. Would :gizz: if they signifigantly increased those.
entity limit can go to 300%.
~ZOMG your graphics card would shit itself. Probably not any time soon.
:sigh: My other PC butt fucked it's mother board so it's getting repaired.
Source SDK update? In MY lifetime? :woop:
What they really need to do is increase the ent. limit and the hammer grid size. Would :nsfw: if they signifigantly increased those.
The only reason they would do that is for gmod so they won't Oh well, gmod gets boring anyway
Whee
Yes? What is it? :mmmsmug: Ontopic: Those new features are going to be awesome... Depth of Field... *drools*
:sigh: My other PC butt fucked it's mother board so it's getting repaired.
What happened to it?
What happened to it?
No idea. Tech-y guy just said it gave up.
Some times just opening the case and cleaning the dust helps the comp run better.
Hot damn, this is going to be awesome, cant wait to play this on my laptop seeing as my birthday is soon! This will be a nice thing to help us make our maps more pretty.
No idea. Tech-y guy just said it gave up.
lol that's what they say when they want to charge you a huge amount of money when the problem is something simple like overheating
Some times just opening the case and cleaning the dust helps the comp run better.
No, not at all, unless it is an overheating problem. There is never a gain of performance from a small bit of dust.
