Edit: Not fixed it... And it seems the game config is fine.
For me, the new sdk is working fine except for this one bug I get. After I map for a while, I'll make a brush based entity (ex: trigger_once) and every time I un-select it, it turns back into a normal 6 sided brush :/
my sdk dont even open I click on "Source SDK" in tools section it comes up loading and then closes The only thing i recently done was a system restore but that doesn't affect steam files, does it?
I've had that before. Usually restarting my comp fixes that.
Still haven't managed to get an ep2.fgd file in my sdk/orangebox/bin folder.... Anyone have any ideas why I'm having problems?
There is no EP2.FGD, it's just Half-life 2.fgd.
I hadn't considred that, silly me.

Ok my SDK menu opens but i click to open Hammer Editor.. My cursor displays the eggtimer for about a few milleseconds then nothing happens. I've tried multiple source games and it seems only 2009 is broken as all games for 2007 are working perfect, excluding Cs:s which shouldnt be there
deleting my steamapps/username/sourcesdk/bin folder did the trick for me

Yes. ep2 and gmod doesn't matter. Though ep2 is just less hassle to make your own configuration.
