Look at the tutorials tab there are plenty, the only reason the forum is dead is because people are saying what you said. Join up it will be awsome.

Interesting. The tutorials are really good, and having a website about mapping would be nice. I'll consider signing up later, as I can't be bothered right now.
Question: Can users upload/write their own tutorials, and does it have to be video?
If not, will they be able to? It will add alot more tutorials, and to avoid spam/crap, you could make it require approval of an admin, before it is shown.
Also, under the tutorial popup-thing, it would be nice to have a timer, to allow the user to not have a cursor on the menu for 0.5 seconds before it closes, so you can get the cursor back in if you by accident move it away.
Interesting site, I may take part in the competition.
I will add a write-your-own sub-section under the tutorial menu and possibly look into a whole new template if the menus are that much of a problem.
