I loved Metro 2033 to death while I was playing the game. I always felt Garrys mod could use more model ports from it. But an entire map? This is fantastic. You Sir, deserve a king medal.

It's a great map. I'm trying to run this in SFM and there are a lot of missing textures and models. I also imported in the CSS and Ep 1 and 2 to the SFM folder. Any help?

I've never used SFM so I have no idea but if you're seeing errors everywhere, then that probably means CSS, Ep1, or Ep2 isn't recognized or something.

I'm having the same problem as him, I have CSS, Ep1 and Ep2 content all loaded into the game so i'm not exactly sure what the problem may be. Some pink and black texture areas include Center Station house area (some of the floors), Dual Bridges (the support beams), and Front Line (support under the bridge) Any idea what the textures may be? Aside from that, the rings that are lining the railroad tunnels are also fullbright for me, not sure if it's just me or not though.

Wierd. Many textures I'm using are custom ones from the original game. By any chance, can you take a picture of all the things you mentioned?

I didn't use them because I was concerned about file size and I didn't have a version that was scaled properly anyways. If you can send them to me that would be great tho, maybe I can use it next time on a different map :p

A lot of the missing textures are from HL2 and some of them are from me. Are the models actually missing and the map is fullbright? Or did you just change settings to make it that way?
I'm not sure what can cause that though, everything is packed into the .bsp, unless the models and materials paths for SFM is structured differently. I can try to make a separate .zip later for you to try out.

I'll try out a few things and then let you know if I get it fixed. I think I may be missing HL2 content, so i'll find out. And the models ARE actually missing, but I made the map fullbright because if you don't do that it's SUPER laggy since it's such a beautiful map.

@Ardowalalin: most of the missing models are either from Ep2 or Hl2. I'll probably make a .zip for you of all the models I'm using by tomorrow or the day after.
Also I'll try to put it on steam workshop again. Garry released the gmad thing so I'll figure out how to use it.
I haven't seen this suggested, but air vent passages could be a nice addition to a future update, They'd be simple, and shouldn't really cause too much of a hassle. It'd be nice to be roleplaying crawling through vents to bypass a certain area, sort of like that part where artyom climbs out of a vent before reaching the armory. Like, directly before he gets to the gate. (At least in the game anyway.)

Honestly I have no clue. The textures that are missing on the models I already gave you, the green bright sprites christ I don't know, and I think all the errors are CS:S models.
