As weird as this may sound, but does anybody have The Sims's 4 default environment textures? I mean stuff like the ground, rocks, sky, building and such. I've taken a certain liking to them
Using $bumpmap vs $normalmap Both have the same normal map texture $bumpmap on the left and $normalmap on the right [t]http://i4.minus.com/ibpwh0jdZpxJ7o.png[/t] [t]http://i3.minus.com/iHth5Zj3ImKgk.png[/t] [t]http://i4.minus.com/ibo6kR2jHFN2Gf.png[/t] [t]http://i2.minus.com/ivUzk0skmtRq.png[/t] And this is the normal map used for both: [t]http://i.imgur.com/zXjMFi7.png[/t] I was requested by onebit to post this

Updated OP telling you which links are dead. If you have mirror's of them I would be most appreciative of them.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/UN7ecCU.jpg[/t]
Looks good! You seem to be already doing this, but I've come to learn that the diffuse really needs to be toned down so the normal can do it's job. Otherwise, you get a mess.
I actually have a few of those texture packs stored away on the comp. I'll try to get some links up in a bit. EDIT: Uploading is complete. Let me know if there any problems. I've had this model of a hand rail for awhile, I decided to re uvmap it and give it a proper ao bake. That fixes most of the links, but there are still a few dead ones. If anyone else has them please share in the thread!

Here's a texture pack with developer textures in different colors: it can be useful as replacement textures during development, instead of only using the default gray and orange dev textures. The package includes: - 17 different colors - 3 patterns for each color (grid, checkered, stripes) - A black & white checkered texture - 65kb per texture Download colorful developer textures pack Some texture samples: Example usage: Quickly blocking out the base shape of a map (in this case a city racetrack)

Holy shit, thanks for the thread, TopHATTwaffle has so many great textures.
If you could add my links as mirrors, I'd appreciate it. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1446288&p=47711996&viewfull=1#post47711996
So, uh-- Fallout textures anyone?
Pretty sure there's a gmod addon with a bunch of fallout textures.
Hey IDK if anyone still uses this thread or not but I need help. I got a model I wanted and loaded into blender, but the UV/texture/image maps don't line up. I have no idea how to fix it.
wrong texture? miscaled uvs? sometimes uv's are inverted and need to be flipped
I think it could be miscaled/calculated. I have no idea. Here's what Unwrapping makes in blender https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/333492/4027e6f8-967a-4ec8-ae96-ece17b6291eb/dbc8ae58bd15027aa1dcc9a7d4b8d708.png But then this is What ninja made
Uv looks fine, you probably just picked the wrong texture. Try looking for another onr
That's the only one remotely close to the model's. The rest are humans and metal objects.
https://i.gyazo.com/8d543a56793362ee6307a9806367555b.png This is what happens when I put them into edit mode too. I can't find anything on this issue either.
Tried to HL2-ify a L4D texture, could be useful for a background factory or something Dropbox https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132623/3caad25b-46dc-4899-a168-b6f1c3e92fa2/brick37_hl2.jpg
