The pictures only show 'the pretty' parts of the map, which is pretty misleading. Like with the city8 map. Still, I like the atmosphere.

If i may ask what do i need to play this level, i have half life 2 and counter strike source and gmod but what do i need specific to play this and what do i need to download? and is it possible to play this level without episode 2 ?

No need to rush.
Just download the map, install it and try to start it up. Worst case scenario you get a fuckton of purple+black. Which might be because you don't have Ep2, in which case, you should.
Does this map require EP1 for the textures??, I'm missing almost all materials. (And EP1 is the only HL2/source game i don't own :/)

The rp_salvation map should have all the textures, etc, included in the bsp file. The only requirement that i can possibly think of is perhaps CS:S.. As i know people who have the map and do not see pink+black, however they do not possess EP2/EP1. It's a pickle really.
Super strict and serious roleplay isn't very fun on this map I will say. But normal roleplay is extreamly fun on it.
