May i have a Highway texture for a road the width of 384 wide. With hazard stripes or something in the middle before it going back to another 384 road.

Was not really my intention to take over. I just wanted to help.
None-the-less I will continue to make the textures requested to the best of my ability, be it slow.

For me, It doesn't really need to be a large sized image for me to work with, but it can help.

Well it took longer than expected due to some sizing issues and I had reversed the alpha by accident at one point but here they are.

They will all fit a 128x88 brush. Image is centered in the middle of a 512x512 texture so you may have to change the Y texture shift.
Sides are transparent.

Not sure how visible it is in that picture, but they all have specular masks that will (Hopefully) convey an ink on paper look.
If you find that you don't like it just open up the vmt and remove (or fiddle with) this block of code

I suggest you use Phone-Booth's textures. They are better.
Edit( in response to Phone-Booth's edit): Use mine for decals since they are in the right aspect ratio to start with.
This wasn't requested but I made some asphalt textures that I got from CGTextures.com Feel free to use them seeing there is no good road textures.
Just plain textures - no bumpmaps or speculars.

Where did you put the files? Look at the .vmt files to see where they should go relative to the materials folder.

Huh... This might be some strange problem as I have been having a hell of a time with Hammer forgetting where textures are after I shut it down and when I compile...
please find it looks like a nice texture.
Try putting the textures into a folder within the materials folder and changing the vmf basetexture, normal, and bumpmap location.
I think it might be some problem with having the textures sitting the materials folder and not in a folder.

Yep, for me putting the textures in a folder within the materials folder worked.
Need to go and fix some texture locations now. I'll also update the downloads for people.
