Hey I've got another request that isn't exactly about a texture needing to be made, but it's more of a texture needing to be edited.

As stated here, this is what I need to do;

So, yeah, I couldn't quite figure this out and tried some tutorials and googled it up, but no luck. I also downloaded a vpk extracting tool but for some reason I couldn't get the skybox texture files to appear.

If anyone here has L4D2 and can edit the skybox textures for me I would really appreciate that!

( All I really need is the Dead Center skyboxes to be edited, not all the other ones. )

It won't let me extract the skybox textures though, I go to l4d2\materials\materials\skybox and nothings in that folder, even if I try clicking " open " ( or extract or whatever ) it says it can't find the file specifified.

And yeah there's two materials folders, is this the problem? Because it's my only materials folder in L4D2.

Pretty much convert the texture, change the color, then convert it back. Or you can use the vtf plugin for photoshop
