To be honest I'd be happy if no one ever knew the code. It'll be like gm_hugeflatmap_v4 all over again with people breaking the catapult 3 minutes into the server starting. :/

Also, if it so bad that it can be broken, then why have a code on it in the first place? It would be nice having access to all features on a map, it's not like I'm about to go into 10 servers and start blowing the houses up.
I love the map but do you think you could make a different version that does not have ep2 stuff? I think it lags me.
I didn't even know the catapult was breakable...
You couldn't break it in the sense that weapons/explosives could damage it, but people always manhandled the trebuchet and fought over it ending up in the trebuchet breaking and not functioning properly from then on in. Let's not detract the subject into a play on words game, ok? I'm simply saying that I'd rather not have everyone who joins the map knowing how to break the house since it's a one-time use kind of thing, and I prefer that the house stay intact on my server. EDIT: I forgot the correct name for the device in gm_hugeflatmap_v4 was a trebuchet.
Some of the models aren't loading for me. Is anyone else having this problem? PM me if you know how to fix it, please.
Some of the models aren't loading for me. Is anyone else having this problem? I understand what you mean by the house being blown up every time you load the server. Oh, by the way I like the map!
Hmm, so i played this map, and someone hit the codes to turn on some awesome song..exactly what was that code LOL. because it was awesome.
there's a song in this map? No way!
This is one of my few maps that I actually like. Tis well made dude. I just have a question when gmod updated again although it changed the menu screens, the old gm_construct was replaced. I really liked to use that map for my little boats or forts similar to kalixx's houses. If anyone knows where I can find the old map at please let me know or if you still have the non updated gmod could you please upload it to garrysmod.org? Thanks And again nice map! Ep2 engine really makes it have great detail.
If you want the old construct goto here : http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=29264
Looks like liquified sexy time! Edited due to posting while under the influence. Man things look different sober.
Good job nVidia . You got my Download for both day and night versions, and a pair of map kings to boot.
have to say. I saw this map and before I even played on it I installed it on trickystutorials build B (I have ftp rights to all the build servers) Then I spent 3 hours in it building a mini-submarine that used wired weights to counteract the buoyancy and raise it up and down. It was also propelled with a fin propeller attached to a 40,000 torque wheel and left and right was a hydraulically controlled finned.. fin. The only thing that was weird / hard was making the superice ramp so my sub could go into drydock underwater (video later). You could have put a retracting platform down there to bring subs in and out of the barrier. It was pretty sweet and I may upload the night version as well. You should just edit the standard download to have both maps.. Keep up the good work! GOOD water has always been overlooked in maps. Oh.. videos done. (may still need verification)
I love this little secret room with the big speakers. I'm guessing that is only in the Night version. Also, I love your map. :) Also, I really want to know the code :)
The tree-covered hills in the skybox in your photos show up as purple-checkers for me... console shows SEVERAL issues with bad/missing shaders. I have HL2, HL2:LC, EP1, CS:S, DoD:S. I _DON'T_ have EP2, but you stated above you only put that in to fill the requirement for posting the map... Where do those shaders come from? Does the night version's "Sexier Skybox" use anything that I might not have?
 hey why don't the buttons on the pad work next to the house? They don't do anything.
Very nice :D I love the underwater area too. Good job.
You really aught to change the requirements to "Orange Box (HL2 Ep2, Portal)" for both map releases. Also, great work on the mini sub, Zeos. :) Mine isn't anywhere near as technical, but this is the thing I make quite a lot when on this lovely map. nVidia was even there for one of those times. :D Also HIVEMIND on the prop used for the periscope. hah. that sub looks awesome caz. But, unfortunately I now urn to make subs (with lettuce and tomato and that bacon that is sorta soggy.... wait). So here is my electric motor sub with opening canopy, better weight control and opposing dual screws for propulsion. My only issue is trying to turn. I guarantee real subs turn better than mine. Continental shift turns better. Then (made 0 alpha) at the very bottom is a counter weight metal beam that I increased the weight of so it sank then decreased in increments till it floated up.. then added weight up and down and up and down until it did not move at all up or down. then I took 40% of that weight off the beam and made a wire weight at the center of gravity. Then I took another 40% off the beam and made another wire weight at the center of the beam. Those two weight control up and down. One toggles between 5(blow ballasts) 1415 (0 buoyancy) and 5000 (sink to the bottom). The other momentarily from 8315 (0 buoyancy) to 10315 to go down and 6315 to go up. Holy shit!
I can't want to see what other maps you're cooking up.
Holy shit!
Good now that I have your attention. Sub maps rock! But only bright sunny clear water ones like this. Keep up the good work and I will throw a suggestion to you from time to time.. Heed it. you should have had more access to the water from inside both buildings. Just holes in the floor. And that dark back room went down for.? You could really take this exact same map.. and go nuts. Make it twelve times deeper with catacombs if you want. Just a thought.
Nice submarines all we need is some torpedo tubes :)
What is the code for music! :D
How exactly did you add fogginess to the water? I'm so bamboozled about that... I took apart your map and checked it out but damn... I don't see a thing as to how to get it foggy like you did... :S
On a scale of 1 to awesome, this is a SEXY! Also, :krad: map!
nVidia, i found a little leak on the map, i'll post pictures later =)
nVidia, i found a little leak on the map, i'll post pictures later =)
I'm aware of some little nodraw faces underwater.
yeah and where the floor meets the wall behind the buggy's has a small gap. Also I made some kickass underwater stacking hanger doors to keep people out of the underwater garage.
