Wow, I am putting this on a build server...
this is some godlike brushwork.
This map really fucks with your perception of distance. I tried spawning a combine on a platform while I was in the air, and was completely puzzled when all I saw was a tiny speck fall straight to the ground. Then I realized how fucking huge the platform actually is and how far away I was.
Shoot, I'm getting one of the same things ZenX2 got wrong -- the edges of the 'spirals' are checkerboarded out. Anything I can do to fix this?
EDIT: But I admit that even with the graphic errors, it's a fascinating map. Here's how I chose to utilize it:

Did you minimise whilst playing it at all? That usually fucks textures up.
Could it be that it is a CS:S or DOD:S texture? Cuase I don't have either of those. :ohdear:
Architecture is nice, but texturing needs work. That kind of map needs custom textures without a question.

This, but even without custom textures it's so fucking amazing.
Out of a lot of maps I've seen here in a while, this one really tries to do something new. Excellent work.
Come to think of it, this map reminds me of the Myst games.
I got to try this out, my brother would love to see this.
I think it looks pretty damn cool. Real complicated brushwork and it's got an abstract feel to it. Reminds me of UT3 for some reason.
