If your map has jumps, crescendos and other out of the ordinary L4D2 style-mapping then yes. I constantly get flow errors in which the L4D2 engine thinks it's a NAV marker in the wrong area and it can turn out to be a damn block_light brush that's causing the problem.

Ah, that sounds bad. NAV is nicer than AI Nodes, at least in my experience. Much more freedom.
