No thanks, I'll stick with CryEngine 2 which ironically supports foliage better. Fuck pageking, have some moar DR2 Reskins. Half ass port I guess
LOL almost done playing Fallout New Vegas on Hardcore Mode. Hardcore Mode is such a joke. The game makes it sound terribly hard but I chose it. You need food, sleep and water. You can go without food and water in game for days at a time, and you won't even need sleep until like a week has passed in game. Easiest 100G achievement I've ever earned.
Fallout should take VATS away entirely. I only use it to see who people are from a distance before firing at them.
I use it all the time but I have pretty bad aim
Exactly why it shouldn't exist. If your ingame life depends on you being able to get headshots with a pistol from 500 feet away and you can't do that, you should practice until you can, not rely on the easy way out.

You can use it tactically, like shooting the legs out on the deathclaws (while screaming, oh god, oh god, oh god)
I really need to finish Fallout New Vegas, I'm on the last mission of the Old World Blues dlc and still have another to finish after that.
I'm currently playing through FO3 again. I hate New Vegas though. It feels like a clunky, buggy DLC for FO3 and it hasn't got any of FO3's charm. Also, the story in FO3, while not the best, pisses all over the New Vegas story.

It was the classic, hey, go and find <insert family member here>, so you can save the world from <insert problem here>. Oh, and to do so, you have to navigate your way past the two enemies you utterly wiped out in the first two games, but have survived here for no apparent reason. New Vegas was a continuance of the fallout theme...a new enemy, with a new agenda. Oh, and insane nightkin...which is always funny.
i've been on a training course for work for a week and on the last day i get a phone call from my dad. my sister's fallen off of her bike and cracked her skull open. after having made sure she was ok and trying to digest that he then goes on to tell me that there's a 90% risk that the vet is going to have to put down my dog. i know this isn't blogpunch and that none of you guys really care but i have a really hard time talking about this sort of shit (frankly this is really shit and the worst kind) with friends and simply writing it down helps some. losing my dog will hit harder than anything has ever done and i don't know how i'm going to react.
Or you could play Fallout 3 like a man and kill everyone in Tenpenny Tower with a sledgehammer. If so, damn :smith: I read it as if the two correlated.

I can't guarantee your safety if you refuse to download and play it

The Capital Wasteland in FO3 is so fucking good and full of life, but the Mojave in New Vegas is so empty and boring. But gameplay wise, NV is a considerable improvement over FO3. Also yeah, New Vegas' story sucks; you can literally wrap up that quest of finding the dude who shot you in less than 6 hours of gameplay, and from there it's odd jobs for the faction you side with until the big fight at the dam and then the game just ends.

The only thing I can think of is the addition of iron sights. I haven't actually completed New Vegas because whenever I try to lay it, I just don't get sucked in like I do with FO3. One time I got so into FO3 over a weekend, I played about 24 hours of it. I didn't even complete the main story. It's that good.

FO3's Story was dumb, you could skip like nearly all of it if go to the vault where your dad is being kept
I think Red Dead Redemption had it bang on. I love the dead eye in that.
Still waiting on that pc port rockstar Please? :c

And I re-installed FO3 a week or so ago, played it 17 hours straight according to Raptr. Still doesn't beat my all time record of playing Mass Effect 3 for 42 hours in between 3 days and one session that went 26 hours long.
