Name some examples. As far as I know, GameDev barely has an elitist attitude. Acting out when in a crowd isn't being elitist, it's a natural sense of security and empowerment.
Voicing your opinion when the situation doesn't call for it isn't bold or brave or anything like that. It's just being obnoxious. You clearly had previous problems with GameDev, and used this opportunity to attack him, even though he said he only posts in OIFY when he's bored.
