I made a horrible mistake. Last week I tried to learn UDK, now I can't get shit done in UDK (due to some strange behaviors of the engine) and the Source Engine looks outdated and inferior.
At the same time I'm in a mood where I want to start a project urgently but as soon as something takes more than five minutes to accomplish, it makes me cancel the project.

Try unity, i did exactly the same thing, and i ended up loving unity.

I'm really thinking about getting back into mapping after poking around this section some more. Maybe make a version of Cannery Row in Monterey, Blu spawn being the Aquarium and Red being in one of the sardine factories.
I haven't mapped in years though. I'm probably really rusty and will probably have to look at endless hours of video tutorials.
