Decided to add lightwarps to my silly little RenderMonkey test scene. I also added a simple box blur to soften them. 2 samples 8 samples
[editline]28th June 2012[/editline] Did I mention that SFM has it's own version of hammer? I can compile straight to it.
You know, watching this, I sort of want to get back into FPSC... Ignore the test game, as always they... don't look that good. Also the fact he was not running shaders and had post processing I think set to off and only had fast lightmapping. tsk tsk tsk. Edit: On second thought, went to the forums and oh god the little kids, nope nope nope.

I made small games with it on my old pc back in 06 or so and then in like 09 I started using hammer. I also loved TS:FP level editor because you could make campaigns, multiplayer maps, and it was so simplistic.
Yep, Maybe I am better off replicating it in hammer. While most of the FPSC Community knows what they are doing, they always get kids with stupid names such as "XtreM_TerroR" or "New Please Help" or even "hello!12" Best one I can find is "FPS USER" or "Runtime Error 506" Ah, the wonders of The Game Creator's Forums and members naming conventions. Also, how the hell did this get done in FPS Creator X9. [img_thumb]http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/jimlogan/snapshot58.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/jimlogan/snapshot26-6.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q176/jimlogan/darkwoodsrays1.jpg[/img_thumb] Edit: I am pretty sure FPS C X9 and TS: FP use different engines. At least they are upgrading FPSC X9 to the point where post processing, Shader 3.0, water, lightrays, and the fact you arn't limited to 60fps now. But I sure do hate its model strictness. Speaking of which aparnetly i am taking some course over the summer to teach me programming, and the start me off with FUCKING GAME MAKER EEEUUUAAARTRRHHHHGGG FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU- Edit2: Sigh... I guess maybe I should hop back on unity, even though I don't know any programming...
Shadurs
I pretty much stopped mapping and went back to music full-time. I work on a lot electronic music but... Crappy ending but whatever. This was just me fumbling around and thought it sounded like it would fit a cinematic/game-y scene, haha.
Edit2: Sigh... I guess maybe I should hop back on unity, even though I don't know any programming...
Neither did i. Last night i finally got my day/night cycle working. If you complain about not knowing how to script, you are spending time when you could be learning how to script.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/212160/ How the heck do you make an MMO on source? That's the stupidest idea ever.
Im taking a course on how to program, but I am going to have to wade through shitty maker first.
And i'm teaching myself. I got the time, and there is no point complainign you can't. If you want to learn something, you can learn it.
Broken link.
works for me...
If they want to use source, what is the issue?
Source is used to make fairly small maps. Plus compiling large maps takes ages. I mean, if you made the land of skyrim in source, you would have a loading screen every few minuets traveled... I'm just wowed that they did it. For those of you with broken links, the game is called Vindictus.

Who knows, Ep3 might use this.
You get half mile cubed to play with, and if you optimise then compiling won't take long. Maybe if you stopped making brick walls by clipping a huge brush into tiny pieces then deleting all the bit you don't want, then your maps would compile faster.
holy shit that looks fucking amazing phoenix fuck wow we're migrating there

I think you're being a tad unrealistic.
[Civil]: You know starcraft 1 right? [Civil]: Oh right [Civil]: You cant know starcraft 1 [Civil]: Because you were like 2 years old or something when it was out [Civil]: Maybe 1 year old MaddaCheeb: I will sexually insult you again if you say i don't know a video game [Civil]: I would not mind that. Auto driving test ftw. Two pedals to worry about, and you might not even need to do an emergancy stop :) in other news Who needs buildcraft quarries.

Fucking love that mod.
Played with that with Sphinxa a while back. Fucking love that mod.
It is amazingly complex. The only issue with that design is the chests are on the drill head, so you can only get to the stuff when you bring the head back up. Just added a auto retrieval so when the head is all the way up, it unloads the contents into a chest on the ground :)
Found this in my basement, cleaned it up and stuff. [t]http://www.leet.cc/DSCN1181.JPG[/t] [t]http://www.leet.cc/DSCN1182.JPG[/t]
That's a glowstick, bend it and it will glow.
