Its the facepunch mappers group on steam community Come on in, we have just got over the random MoD dissing (incompatent group of people responsible for the UK defences). If you want to be really lazy, add me on steam (skeeter423), and ill inv you. Anyone adding me for the sole purpose of wanting to trade any of my tf2 items, inc sam and max gear, will get the same treatment as someone who tried it earlier today. He suddenly had to leave after i threatened to remove his eyes with a spoon.

You could check for those regularly with ALT+P to avoid Hammer from just throwing out the solid without you knowing. As for finding which it has already removed, sorry, I have no idea.

Phoenix why do you use all the hipster software tools? Blender I can understand since maya licenses are fucking expensive, but the UDK is free and GIMP... Well I won't go into that.

Both Blender and GIMP do the jobs i need them to, i have no need for the bells and whistles of Maya or Photoshop. Unity is a great engine, especially as it caters for small teams. UDK itself is free, but it has moved its UI to scaleform, meaning you cannot make ui systems without a copy of the latest Flash editor. The UDK assumes that you want to make a 1st person shooter, and the default setup is for Unreal. This is fine if you are making a 1st person shooter or have an experienced coder, but if you are a single person trying to make a game, every update you need to change several lines of code (which may change from version to version) to allow you to use your mod, and then learn C, code it in individual files, then compile it all. It is a lot of faff to find out if the reticle shows. In unity i can write some lines of code, hit run, and it will show me the game in full. Very little faff involved. And i like it when a piece of software has a small amount of faff.
