Yes it is. The editor stores the uncompiled maps as .vmfs like Hammer does. They're found in [i]Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\sdk_content\maps[/i].

All of us use hammer its not like we quit mapping because of the portal 2 editor, I'm sure they'll fix it
