Thanks mate!

Big w00ts go out to Saiteki for his gravity script and to DaApocalypse for being my covert beta-tester and/or blowjob slut.
NOTE: This needs to be downlaoded as a RAR to work properly. Put this in your MOTD if you're hosting a server:
If you are seeing a whole bunch of pink squares, go and download the full RAR file from Facepunch.
Also, make sure you download both the skybox RAR file AND the main map RAR file. That's because I'm a forgetful oaf and forgot to put the skybox materials in the main RAR, and I'm too lazy to reupload 10 MB on my shitty connection.
Well, it's finally here. Took me a while, and I'm sorry that it didn't live up to what I hyped it to be originally. I apologize in advance for any bugs that I may have missed, and I may or may not get around to fixing them. To be honset with you, I'm sick and tired of working on this map, waiting 3 minutes for Hammer to open it up, half a minute for any entity to be created, and all the toher laggy bullshit related to huge maps. I'm probably gonna work on my onslaught map next. Anyways, here are some screenies for all those who are just joining us:

And if you feel this is at least worthy of a thanks, don't be a stranger :D
Okay, here comes additional info/FAQ:
+ "How I overload reactor?"
- To do that, you'll need at least 3 people. Two go to the side-consoles in the reactor room, one goes to the center override room. The vent override switch will be covered withtwo layers of shielding. The two side consoles each remove one layer of shielding, then the main switch is pulled. Then, the vents in the reactor open for 15 seconds. Then one of the people at the side consoles or a 4th person down below throw a grenade into the vents, Halo style. Enjoy the fireworks.
+ "So I've blown up the ship. Is there a reset switch?"
- Yes there is, it's right under the reactor, You'll probalby have to noclip in order to get to it, though, sorry.
+ "Are the escape pods controllable?"
-Yes they are, but theyre a bit tricky to control, due to the alck of stabilization and the awkward view. Also, noone like an asshole who takes a whole pod for themselves and takes off without his friends :D
+ "What's that weird cylinder laying around the main hangar?"
- That's the SatCam, sends an image to the screen on the Bridge.
+ "You dumbass, you forgot to label the hangar spawnables!"
- A thousand pardons, my Lord. Left to right, they are: shield generator, plasma pulse cannon, oxygen generator, shipspawner powercore.
+ "Powercore, you say? What is that used for?"
- Slump it into one of the ports on the two miniship spawners to activate the customization/spawning system.
id leave my friends to save myself i wanna live
You quoted all that to say a 10 word line?
^was it really necessary to quote the whole first post?
about this code, so from what I understand, the code is hidden somewhere within the ship? I'm not asking for a locations, I just don't want to spend a while searching the entire ship to only find it was actually hidden somewhere else.
Is there a filefront mirror?
I actually found the code my self.. its only three digits, and it beebs when you get one of them right... its so easy, so just try it yourself
This map is awesome! Too bad it has alot of Bugs and lag, fix all that and it would be the best RP map out there!
Use trial and error to figure out the code to the asteroid base, it don't take much.
Well I've downloaded it and do they both go into maps or what?
poor oreo...Great map by the way
I'm sorry to say that it feels very unfinished. It's probably due to the pressure of all those people nagging for release. The lua really funks the map up. Perhaps if there was a version without the lua it would lag a lot less? This would be good for people who don't have an "above adverage computer".
Wow, if you know a map is going to lag like that, why did you make it so big? I really thought the map was cool, liked the effects, but if you get in any server playing it, your gmods going to crash.

oh, three digits? then i apparently found the code myself also. I apprently hit a key on accident, which explains why the door didn't open the first time.
It would be a pitty if he made the map less awesome just so it would lag less, I say if you have a bad computer and can't play the map, then don't, and stop bitching.
ps. I have been near the asteroid and saw a gate but didn't see a kep pad of anykind, where is it?
What do those heavy circular things do that can spawn in the asteriod base?

On top of the base, under a panel.
where do I put skybox?
where do I put skybox?
In the materials folder.
I thank the.
hey, I figured out what the Heavy things are that you spawn at the base! they are anti-grav mines! they make things drop out of space while they quietly sit there. I put one in my ship, got in, and when I flew, my ship refused to leave the ground! I then manually pushed it into space, and it fell to its doom.. if you set up at the base, and you don't want intruders, then litter the opening with these things! there awesome!
How many people are going to ask where to put the skybox folder, where the power cores are, and how do i open the door to the asteroid?
Skybox folder goes in materials folder.
The power Cores are in the main hangar and are spawned when you throw 10 props into the reactor and hit the button on the far right of the panel.
The asteroid door is opened by breaking the panel of the box on top and then entering a code I WILL NOT TELL YOU! then pulling the lever and the door will open and the asteroid will power up.
The escape pods only open up when the reactor goes into meltdown mode and you need to use the lever to get one of the worst views for driving possible.
And for the ship spawner, take the power cores to the fourth floor hangar bay and put one in either of the two pod holders, then hit the blue buttons to work the panel.
The square starts the process then the X will cancel and eject the power core the triangle will let you select the primary attachments.
If the sign for the attachment you want is on the top look just beneath it on the box and hit the spot beneath it.
If it is on the bottom it will be a square just above it.
Then hit the second triangle to select your secondary attachment which uses the same selection method as mentioned above.
Then finally hit the up arrow on the console to unlock the door and attempt to get in your new ship.

Well that throws my idea of it being a keep-upright disc for building ships and Freelancers theory that it has to do with mining.
Just tear apart one or two of the passenger rooms and throw all the crap in the reactor.

That explain's why my ship wasn't launching from the asteroid base after spawning a few and leaving them....I thought it was a glitch. Well, congrats to Maxx777 for finding out what those blasted discs were.
It's cool looking, better than most rp levels.
But it's laggier than most RP levels.
Hint: Run this map in SMOD, it's much smoother.
I am file hosting this map on my clan site so you can download it here too if the main link take too long to download. Skymap included.

Quick question, you said there was some way to breathe in space for so long, how do you do that? I couldn't find it.
It is in the main hanger it requires throwing 10 props in reactor then on the panel against the wall it is the third button and it spawn an oxygen generator.
