To all of you who are saying how bad this map is, try mapping yourself. It is very hard work, takes a long time, requires much effort and even more creativity, and all the mapper gets in return for giving his time in effort to the community is the thanks of that community. And here you are saying this map is rushed and laggy and a piece of crap. Why don't you try making a map half as good as this one and see if you change your mind.

Might I suggest that you use packrat or some such thing to bspzip the textures?
Is there anyway to go outside without dying? I'd love to take some shot's out there.

I wonder if laser will release a 1.1 or 1.01 of the map with the few missing teaxtures fixed and maybe some of the lua things.
This map is very good, but is too heavy on the hardware for me. Ping is normal but the frames per second are too bad to play this properly. Good work on it though.

In addition you can override all the bulkheads from the console with the command "override_lockdown". Also, admins can you deal out thruster packs with the command give_tpacks.
Now make a way for Admins to spawn the thruster packs and this script will be golden. (I just said this in the other thread of yours :P)
For all those who can't spawn the cool toys in the hanger. [code]Down the other end of the hanger is a large blast door. Open this. Inside is a large furnace. Stuff the furnace with props until it is closed. The hatches will now open. Have fun...[/code]
Or, If you are in SP, use "ent_fire !picker toggle" on the thing covering the buttons.
I'm sorry about Oreo, and I liked the music that played. What part of HL2 was it in? Anyway, I really like the map, and I think more people should concentrate on looking at the positive aspects of the map and overlooking the minor problems.

Make it so that it will still kill you if you go outside, but when you have suit power, it takes it down by like 1 every 2 or 3 seconds. Would be kinda like a space suit that you could recharge. :D
Very cool map! Futuristic and many other things. It can be buggy in places. Over all, it is a new opening for a new type of map.

Again, good but another suggestion: Get rid of the reactor. It's the minges key to ruining the server. Look forward to v2.
Very cool map, i like it alot! But the fps is bad, so bad its driving me crazy. I think he owned the engine, the map is just too complicated. It doesn't matter what computer you have, it probably will lagg.

I will be honest, I am not too impressed. The idea was great, however many of the ideas were poorly executed. I myself could not do anything of this magnitude but there is no way to know how to improve if everyone is kissing your ass. The map needs to be optimized, that's a given. Also, if you are going to make something look like it is usable, then make it usable. The spawners need to be clearly labelled and need to be easy to use. Other than that the map itself is fine for the most part, there is just such a huge oppurtunity for improvement.

But he missed one big point, the ****ing airlocks! i'm sure its very hard to get the airlocks to work but still, 3 seconds to get back in your ship while the floor is made of wet ice and you can't jump, bloody hell it sucks, especially when the ship is exploding because a mingebag decided to chuck a dynamite in the engine...
