Hey I have a really stupid question but... how do i install the skybox?
Please, just read the thread..
Download it first, then go into materials, and guess what, there's a folder called skybox!
Stick it in there!
I looked, and figured it out!

Normally, you can't. However, load up the map in single player and use a console command. I believe it was ent_fire bridge_chair enterimmediate, or at least something similar to that.
1. The chair is locked and if you do manage to get in it, there's nothing you can do but sit and enjoy the awesome view of a skybox in front of you.
2. If you are "frozen" you can easily walk sideways to the place you want to go. (strafe)

However, you cannot jump. It's a buggy gravity script. Possibly beating the technical hang in rp_orbitv3

Yeah, I was concerned about this since it really is worse that that orbit bug...
Any chance we can get that script working properly?
Someone please god explain to me the escape pods and the ship spawning in the hangar! I can blow the rescvtor in single player by the way with dynamite, but surely the doors to the escape pods on the floor below the main deck should open? They don't for me! So, firstly, how do you get in them, secondly, how do you respawn them? It's annoying you can only use them once! As for hangar respawns, how, where and more info please! Also, would anyone like to join me in about 6 hours time from this edit, not post, on a server with this map, and try and unravel the mysteries together! ;)
To put the skybox in the map just extract it into the gmod9/materials/skybox folder, there's none in it by default, just extract the skybox folder into your materials forlder and bam, a nice skybox. It will make the map run a little better too.

Alright guys. Here's a different sort of texture question although it's probably still asked a lot. I got the skybox working right away, however like a lot of people I am still missing a few textures, like on the asteroid and such. I saw one person said he somehow got it right; however he didn't give any details!
I searched the thread but gave up. Is there any solution to the texture problem?
I would just not worry about it if i were you i guess.
I heard the creator forgot to pack those along with the map.
Very neat map, It has problems but I really like it though.
Hope when the time comes you could update/upgrade the map or start one over from scratch because this is good.

Can someone give me a link to the full RAR file, I'm seeing pink and black squares everywhere.
He said he is going to start on another project, that he's got somone else upgrading it and that he, the map creator, won't do anything more with it.
