I don't know anything about a password for the asteroid, but the custom ship needs a powercore which I have no clue where it is.
It is in the large hangar.
In the large hangar, there's a big door that opens a generator-looking thing. Keep putting props in it and it'll close, and buttons will open up on the other side. Fourth in the row is the powercore. Take that up to the smaller hangars, and it opens the ship building system.
You spelled the map name wrong. It should be spelled gm_sex.
