First screenshot reminds me of the area of the Antlion caves in Episode Two where you had to fend off Antlions and Zombies to go up a elevator...without the Zombies/Antlions. :buddy:

Nice, glad they were useful. Another thing that you could keep in mind is that everything from the machines to the equipment had to be disassembled, put in a tiny mine elevator or hooked to the bottom then it descends 2 KM into the ground, then transported another long distance horizontally... This means things have to be fairly modular and easy to take apart.

I'm working at the inventory club of pokernight does that count as an entry too ^^, I'm planning to remake the textures myself.

well considering the scaffolding can be proppered or brushed into the map and not moved. the train cars will be proppered and added to the map.zip as a 1 foot train addon pack minus the wheels though since phx has them also i cant promise the round ones will be perfect lol or even made at all but rather some traditional mining cars.
right now my mining sections and tunnels are very basic with lighting as I am still building them and laying tracks, then i go back and do displacements and detail work.
in the end this mining section will be put on another map as a whole but right now it is it's own map

I'm still working on detailing the entrance area. But we need to set some standards, so that the map is consistent. I'll finish this entire thing, with the rigging to let it go down, and the brief view of the world above. It's all as a test. The finalized stuff will be about the same, but be more intergratable.

Right now, the lift is suspended by two winches. It'll get guide cogs that guide it down a set of strips. It has it's own lights, powerbox and connecting wires already.
