You sound like a fucking cheapskate that nobody wants to give gifts to because they know you won't put any thought into the gifts you give them in return.
Just put a few dollars away each week for a year and come Christmas time you can buy people thoughtful gifts that don't break the bank.
I put loads of thought into my gifts, for example my friend loves art so I bought him an easel and 10 blank canvases, another one as well years ago my mother went bankrupt due to credit cards and shit she had to sell all of these "Myth and Magic" figures she had, so this year I bought her a small set of them for £200.
I'm a thoughtful person I just don't like spending money.

Good idea, Mine, Sweetswifter and Zapding's map is coming along nicely as you saw previously Sweetswifter has done a decent elevator, I'm working on a huge cave complex.
I suddenly have a good feeling about this.
However with all us against one map made by 3 people is relatively demoralising
