The contest always got themes i suck at making.
Wait...that car has no wheels, busted doors, bent out of shape frame, broken tail-lights, but the headlights still work.
What's the car doing there in the first place?
I don't think I'll have time to enter this on top of the map I'm working on but I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's entries.
Heh, turns out that texture I made is petty perfect for this: [IMG_thumb]http://i51.tinypic.com/2624js8.jpg[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://i55.tinypic.com/2rzoq6x.jpg[/IMG_thumb] (Needs to be scaled down I think though.)
Looks like a nice texture, DeadChicken.
Wait...that car has no wheels, busted doors, bent out of shape frame, broken tail-lights, but the headlights still work.
One headlight still works. It was the foremans car. Time wasn't very kind to it.
One headlight still works. It was the foremans car. Time wasn't very kind to it.
Thought you were talking about me just then. :frown:
I think I'm in for this one.
Gimme that texture chicken :3:
Pfft, I already gave it to Eyefunk, then this contest started, hehe... Lucky bastard Eyefunk.. I ain't enabling anyone, hehe.. Also, you'll never guess what it actually is, the texture I mean.
Worth a try, erm is it the roof of somebodies mouth? Looks like it :v:
I think I'm in for this one.
Everyone give up and maintain your dignity.
Everyone give up and maintain your dignity.
Never...we will fight them on the barricades, we will fight them on the beaches, we will fight them in the laundrettes. We will never surrender!
I'm in, is there any rules to what you make underground? Or does all that matters is that it's an underground level? (just want to be clear.)
I'm most likely going to create a Hl2-themed Undergrowth, something about Combine structures, and decaying buildings really interest me. Count me in.
Two floors to go and i'm done. Anyone else out of planning stage yet?
Never...we will fight them on the barricades, we will fight them on the beaches, we will fight them in the laundrettes. We will never surrender!
Rated winner because it was truly inspiring bro.
Two floors to go and i'm done. Anyone else out of planning stage yet?
Yeah. I'm working on it now. Of course, it's not as good as the planning one I had. I have a feeling i'm going to re-do it again and again.
Oh shit! I forgot how hard it was to map! :sigh: First time mapping in a few months :3:
I'm in, is there any rules to what you make underground? Or does all that matters is that it's an underground level? (just want to be clear.)
It only has to be mostly underground; how far under the surface does not matter, nor the purpose. It could be caves, sewers, bunkers, underworld civilization, mines, earth's core, etc [editline]e[/editline] Or your basement
Got it :)
I can't enter cause' I'm just learning to map but i hope you guys make great maps!
Two floors to go and i'm done. Anyone else out of planning stage yet?
I've started my plans and I've got a lot of stuff going around in my head, and I've started mapping to get the theme and I've made a few very basic props. I don't want to finish planning too early in case I feel too limited and get bored of the project.
I see your three man team and raise you pure insanity...
:byodood:
Getting anywhere with your map Firegod?
Could you possibly define "Underground"? I know I know, it means under the ground, but to what extent? Like it just needs to be underground for the most part? Has to be underground but small parts can be above ground?
Who said I started :tinfoil:
Nevermind, I am working alone. I'm just going to help Lewyjudge12 and his motives!
Who said I started :tinfoil:
The little camera behind you :3:
