I'd consider cc to be custom content, since you have to pack it. Although it does make sense for it to be allowed.

Also, I should mention you should compile my map without vis or func detail everything except the outer brushes.

I hope you decrease the deadline. October 1st is waaay to long of a time to make such a small map. Make it like the 20th or the 24th to allow at least some time for procrastinators.

OK im new to this forum and noticed this post i map for HL2DM im very busy with things but would love to try my hand....to clear things up with myself and others just incase....this is all for fun!....map size bust be 512x512, no 3dskyboxes,custom content(mdl's,sound & textures ect) are ok....you will be judging? by most creative map??(i take that as detail/visual wise) & to send you vmf plus pics? & bsp?. This is just for peace of mind as iv noticed a few folk are confused on what the conditions are.. Cheers

The rules are pretty clear to what I want and what I don't want. People keep asking if they can do things if they arn't in the rules and it's fine. The rules are there for a reason. I didn't forget to add anything. If you want to use a 3D Skybox, you can. All I said about pics was post your progress here, but you don't have to. When you are finished you can just send me the .bsp AND the .vmf. Hope this clears up everything people have been having trouble understanding. Also, the post says it's a competition for a $5 or under game on Steam to whoever wins.

In the OP it says it has to be creative and awesome (whatever that means) Who will be judging? Is it a poll?
