This isn't what I intended exactly, but I love that you feel that way looking at these buildings.
I'm not sure what you intended, but to me they look depressing.
I didn't see them as depressing, but now that you mention it...
So, I really like the facade but the interior isn't panning out in a good way. Basically, I think I'm going to start it from scratch.

The architecture on those buildings are incredible.
The HDR makes a huge difference.
White spots bro.
Looks a lot better now
and if you still needs testers, i can test it. Just add me on steam.
Those white spots are bothering me too.
Now to give it a night-time, full-moon lighting, put some good color correction in there, and turn it into a gritty, dark building full of rubble.
I do like seeing all the buildings together, but the concrete textures I still find rather unpleasant.
Took the white spot out the best I could. I also wanted to give it a bit more of a yellow/ deep brown color but I think I went a little overboard.

It looks better, still tiling but most textures will unless they're high resolution.
I think the yellow tint you gave it works pretty well.
I like the yellow, just make more variants of it for different buildings. Darker ones, lighter ones, you know.
Really cool, I would keep the grey concrete style texture.
The moody and gloomy grey is what makes it so good.
The architecture almost reminds me of the Soviet Union.
LOOOONG overdue update after a long period of mapper's block/laziness/hiatus.
I'm trying to resurrect this new building a bit. One problem was that it wasn't getting enough natural light, so I added this string of windows.

I'm not entirely sold on the design, but it did lighten up the interior a bit as you can kind of see in this shot of the entire interior thusfar.

Here's another angle that I don't think I posted.

I'm hoping to get some feedback on how this building is going so far. I'm not entirely sold on the whole thing, I'm close to just deleting the entire thing and starting over with a new design.
wowowowowowowowowow
Did some work on the new building today. Overall I'm... cautiously optimistic. I planned this building to be pure and absolute brutalist architecture and it definitely has a lot of brutalist architecture elements, but it's not turning out as fantastic as all the pictures I've seen of brutalist buildings, like the Boston City Hall.
Anyway, I have a lot of pictures. There's a lot of glitches, placeholders, mistakes, and just bad design that needs more light, but here we go.

Looks incredible, you're great with brushwork
I'm not sure if its just me but it bugs me when I see floor textures as walls and what not.

Meh, its style.
I'm not sure if its just me but it bugs me when I see floor textures as walls and what not.
I don't get what everyone's hangup on this is. Just because the texture's file designates it as a floor doesn't mean that it can only be a floor. Granted, there are definitely textures that I'd never use outside of the place that the file name suggests, but all the trim for the windows and doors I just see as a dark concrete, not just a floor, and definitely not when used as trim. I probably wouldn't use it as an entire wall.
Looks alright to me.
It cannot be unseen p much.

What is "p much"?
What is "p much"?

pretty much
Firegod uses acronyms too damn much.
Err, excuse me, f-god u a/nyms tdm.
That is the one time I use an acronym. :colbert:

I could probably go around and find quotes of you using acronyms, but I have things to do.
I do know I've seen you use like "iirc" and "afaik" and stuff like that. It's kind of annoying, I wish people would just write out words. Especially when you're using a keyboard.
afaik you should get over it cause iirc it doesn't matter anyways if you can just look it up.

Well played.
edit: content.
I came up with a mildly elegant solution for lighting that I'll be tweaking and further implementing because this one strip of light doesn't light the entire interior thusfar. I do like the look though.

As you can (kind of) see from this picture, it doesn't light super well farther down (it looks better in-game) but I'll probably add similar strips other places in the building.
