Do point_spotlights need to be turned off and then back off to update it's colour? I'm updating a point_spotlight's colour from 0 115 255 to 0 255 0 , but the colour isn't changing in game. No problems with the triggers. [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] Right, the answer to that is yes. Another question however, how can I make a func_break STOP taking damage completely? I could set the health to something like 999999, but that would still leave it vulnerable for some crazy person to go mental at it for a long period of time.

I can use the 3D one fine, but the 2D ones freak out when I use them... I can't map in these condition... It's happen only in the 2009 configuration.
My decals are being STRETCHED THE HELL OUT. Sometimes when I look at them at a specific angle, they're not stretched... also this only occurs in Hammer, not ingame.

Slight problem revolving (excuse the pun) around func_rotatings. I'm trying to dynamically alter the speed (at one point it's 22.5 degrees/s , and I want to then change it to 45 degrees/s). However, it really, really doesn't want to change. Setting the maximum speed in the dialogue box makes it permanently move at that speed. By using the setspeed input, the speed does not change. I have tried making the maximum speed higher so that I can change it from a low to a high speed, but all this does is make it rotate at the maximum speed, even when using the setspeed input. How fix? [editline] minge [/editline] Turns out set speed is a percentage of the maximum speed. Not obvious in the slightest.

Does anyone know of any good optimization tutorials? Or someone who is really [i]really[/i] bored and would like to help me optimize a map? It's a city, but I don't know how to optimize well, and optimize open-areas at all. Thanks in advance

make sure you have it snapped to the grid. So they are on the same line. If it is perfectly aligned, you may want to check your AA settings.
Figured it out. Forgot to nodraw something so it was trying to render something that wasn't suppose to be there.

The post processing looks nice, provided hes got permission to use all the stuff he is I don't see whats wrong with it.

In the Gmod Workshop publisher, the part where it shows invalid files, my colour correction .RAW files seem to come up red. Its all in the right locations I'm pretty sure and it shouldn't deny .RAW files. Is this just gonna take some time to fix or am I doing something wrong?
