I haven't even started yet. I'm probably going to do so during this weekend.

Got inspired by gm_ghosthunt and gm_apartments. :v: gonna have some custom models as soon as I can get hammer to load them up. OP, is it ok that I actually make a mini source mod for this?

OP, is it ok that I actually make a mini source mod for this?[/QUOTE] It's okay if you do, but it isn't exactly necessary for a map (or two) using pakrat or the other one that was posted is really the best way to go, and makes it easier for us judges. So while it's okay to make a source mod, it isn't really recommended. It's about as recommended as using to maps. Only do it if it's completely necessary.

Hammer is acting up and now when ever try to compile and run my level I get a completely different level. I have to start over again.
Count me out I can't get this map to work how I want and there is no way in hell that I'm going to start over.
There's not enough time for me either to restart this for a third time already, Hammer's functions aren't even working correctly. As much as I'd love to continue I can't as said already. Sorry Quacles, but count me out.

Really sad to see some of you go. There is still more then a month left, and I highly encourage everyone to keep trying. I am really excited to see the outcome of this competition, but I fear that many of you have been discouraged from mapping, this is sad. I would hate to reach the end of the competition and only have 4 people contending. While hammer breaks, I find most of the time it can be fixed, so please reach out for help from the mapping question megathread, this thread, or both.
I feel somewhat compelled to try and whip up something quick, but I don't think I have any good ideas that I'm not already using for other projects.
