I say the ambient needs to be brighter. You have it way too dark.
Is it possible to add buttons that can remove the atmosphere in a room with LS3 and RD3(like what Col. Young intended to do with the gate room when the Lucian Alliance came through)??

I try to simulate daylight on the planets with generic light entities, as the light_environment is needed elsewhere. One bright light for the direct lighting and several lights with low brightness evenly distributed across the area for the ambient. I'll probably have to add more of those to reach most of the dark spots. Or is there a better way to replace a light_environment? If not, I might just kill the entity and then spawn it again with a point_template. Though I think the atmospheres are loaded on map start, so LS3 might not recognize that. In light entities there are linear, constant, and quadratic try playing around with them; [url]http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Constant-Linear-Quadratic_Falloff[/url]
I know, all of them use 1:0:0 to make the light as even as possible. High linear and quadratic values don't go with sunlight, right?

But I think that Outdoor area needs some more variations of high. Also some Rocks, and other things here and there would look good. Not just cut off Trees. :)
Well, 6 days and counting down! I am still loving the look of this map. How are the textures coming along...?

Odd how the bridge pops out, yet the shuttle bulkheads hydraulics were siezed up after all that time....
You know, you would have thought they would have looked at the top of the ship for the bridge. That's generally where command structures are located, although I don't quite understand that logic on a ship with screens...

No offence or anything, but from what I have seen so far, and from what you are hoping to add, I don't really believe that anyone would be able to finish the entire map before Season two starts... :smile: Also, I made some textures for my Destiny map a while ago, maybe you woulod like to take a look at them? I could help you a little with texturing, however I am not really that good...
I accidently clicked on page 2, and thought you had uploaded a new video, to my disappointment, it was the observation deck video :crying: oh well, still looks like its coming along nicely

This map needs to get out before the Cataclysm hits or I won't have any free time left at all between the two. :crying: What textures do you have exactly? As I already have the plain metal stuff of which most of the destiny consists of.
